I have the Yamaha driver installed, and it seems to be working.Īlso, in GarageBand, it says there's one midi device connected, so I assume it knows about it, but up there where it says Audio Input (in GB prefs) theres a 'greyed out' bar that says No Drivers Found. But nothing shows up as an input inthe GarageBand preferences. I just restarted, plugged the keyboard in, and launched GarageBand. I deleted the midi setup and started over. I read the article about how to drag the little arrows to each other in the Midi setup. I see the keyboard listed in the Midi setup. I downloaded the Yamaha driver and see it in my system preferences. (and I'm new to using instruments with my Mac) Could someone please give me a little direction on how to make this work. I know I'm probably doing something wrong. It has a USB out on the back of it, so I thought the Mac might recognize it if I just plugged it in from the keyboard to the Mac, but the OS doesn't even recognize it.
